At Madison Recovery Center
Explore the stages of our outpatient treatment process, and meet the passionate, expert team ready to lead you towards an extraordinary life beyond imagination. Here’s exactly what you can expect when you walk through our doors.
Our Step-by-Step Admissions Process
Step 1: Initial Call
You reach out to Madison Recovery Center—either by phone or online. Our admissions team listens to your concerns and answers any immediate questions you have.
Step 2: Insurance Verification
We quickly verify your insurance benefits and explain your coverage, so you understand what’s covered and what your options are.
Step 3: Intake Assessment
You’ll complete a confidential intake form that includes your personal and medical history, substance use, mental health background, and any immediate concerns. Then, we’ll help you figure out your travel plans.Step 4: Biopsychosocial Evaluation
Once you arrive, a licensed clinician will guide you through a detailed biopsychosocial assessment to gain a deeper understanding of your emotional, psychological, social, and physical health.
Step 5: Medical and Psychiatric Evaluations
You’ll meet with our medical and psychiatric team to review your physical health, any medication needs, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Step 6: Customized Treatment Plan
Once all assessments are complete, we collaborate with you to build a personalized treatment plan. This plan outlines the level of care that’s right for you—whether that’s PHP, IOP, Virtual IOP, or ongoing support like sober living.
Step 7: Start Treatment
You begin outpatient care with a team of compassionate professionals by your side. Every step is explained and supported. You’re never alone in this process.
Our Outpatient Treatment Strategy
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP):
A structured program that includes several hours of treatment per day, five days a week. It’s ideal for people who need support throughout the day but can return home in the evening.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP):
This step-down level of care provides three to five days of weekly support, with morning or evening sessions. IOP allows you to return to work, care for family, and stay rooted in your recovery.
Virtual IOP:
For those who need flexibility or cannot travel to the facility, our fully remote program brings therapy, group sessions, and individual support right to your phone or computer.
Sober Living Support:
If you need a safe place to stay while attending outpatient treatment, we can help connect you with trusted sober living environments that foster accountability and healing.
